Environmental Policy

FRC Group of businesses aim is to create profits and opportunities to improve the lives of people in poverty and unemployment. Our current businesses are the supply of new furniture and the collection and recycling of used furniture and white goods.

We are committed to the continual improvement of environmental performance in all our activities and will achieve this by:

  • Preventing pollution and complying with all relevant legal and other environmental requirements
  • Using less of the world’s resources – fuels, energy, materials and water. We seek to purchase less environmentally damaging products from local suppliers whenever possible
  • Reducing CO2 emissions that arise from the fuels used by our fleet of vehicles and electricity and gas use in our buildings
  • Reducing waste and increasing recycling
  • Working with our suppliers and contractors to reduce negative impacts on the environment
  • Considering the environmental impacts of any new projects to increase positive impacts and reduce negative impacts
  • Training our staff: FRC Group’s environmental policy is the responsibility of all of our staff and they all have a part to play in this. Through good training we will ensure all staff understand the major environmental issues and their specific environmental responsibilities.
